At the beginning of 2018, three sets of transformers, weighing 300 tons each, manufactured by Power Machines — Toshiba LLC, were transported to the Kalinin NPP. To carry out such transportation, modular axles, a portal system and a railway conveyor with a carrying capacity of 400 tons were used.
