The cargo was a reactor with a total mass of 810 tons, and with a mass of a road train of 1 015 tons and transport dimensions: length 47 meters, width 7 meters and 8.5 meters height. The list of activities of DAKOTRANS JSC included the delivery of the reactor from the place of shipment to the river pier, followed by transshipment to a barge and delivery to the port of Nizhnekamsk, 17 km from which the place of delivery was located.
The river pier was not far from St. Petersburg. The total distance from the loading point to the port was 16 km, while having on its way several 90-degree turns, the passage of which was carefully planned due to the significant dimensions of the cargo. Also on the chosen delivery route were two railway crossings, for the passage of which special permits and additional work were required to block the railway line. A police escort would be organized in connection with the closure of roads for the duration of the cargo.
When he reached the river port, the reactor was loaded onto the RoRo barge, which was to deliver this cargo to the port of Nizhnekamsk, the total distance between the ports was about 2,000 km, which the barge covered in 12 days.
To transport this large-sized reactor, specialized equipment was used at each stage of transportation, both for installation and fastening on a barge, and for passing ground sections of the track.
At the end of the open navigation period, Dakotrans JSC, on behalf of Cryogenmash PJSC, successfully transported from the territory of Izhorskiye Zavody PJSC to the berth on the Neva River and loaded 6 large tanks onto a barge.

To transport this equipment, an exclusive transportation and transshipment scheme for such unique equipment was developed at the port of Taganrog. Preparatory work for the delivery of the deaerator to the port included coordination with all state structures, owners of local roads, as well as lifting gas pipes to the required height for unhindered passage. Preparation for this transportation began six months before the appointed time. Transshipment on board a vessel in the port of Taganrog was carried out by a pair of two trains. recovery cranes. Sea transportation was carried out with transshipment in the port of Constanta (Romania). The final destination for deaerator delivery is Vietnam, Long Fu Thermal Power Plant. At the end of 2017, DAKOTRANS successfully delivered six sets of heavy transformers manufactured by POWER MACHINES — Toshiba LLC to the port of Bronka and transshipment to the ship under a contract for the supply of Power Machines PJSC to Vietnam. The weight characteristics of the transformers were 227 tons and 267 tons.
Transformers were delivered to the port by road. Unloading at the terminal was carried out by the forces of the Bronka terminal using a crane with a g / p of 320 tons and a specialized gas-loading plant. For sea transportation, a specialized vessel equipped with a crane fleet of high g / p was chartered. The loading of transformers on the ship was carried out by the forces and means of the ship.
